Publishing standards

Editorial policy

Financial content must be understandable, verifiable and clear about its limitations.

Accuracy and sourcing

Regulatory and consumer-protection statements are checked against central banks, financial regulators or legislation portals. We prefer primary sources and identify examples as examples.

Independence

Editorial explanations are not approval guarantees. A commercial destination does not control our description of risk, total cost, documents or consumer rights.

Language and localization

Country sections are written for the market’s language and currency. A translation should preserve meaning, not simply replace keywords. Local terminology is reviewed when official guidance changes.

Corrections

Readers can report an inaccurate statement or broken source through the contact page. We verify the report, update the page and change its review date when the correction is material.

Responsible presentation

  • No guaranteed approval claims.
  • No pressure to borrow.
  • No hidden assumption that a higher limit is better.
  • Clear distinction between an estimate and final terms.
